Windows:  Besides providing privacy, window treatments should enhance a room. To give the appearance of a longer or wider window, mount your curtain rods higher/wider than the actual window.  Then hang the curtain panels to frame the window.  This will draw the eye upward/across and creates the feeling of height/width.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

Family Photos: An inexpensive way to create harmony with all your family photos is to spray paint all the frames in the same color. They can all be displayed in one area or on one wall to create interest and cohesiveness. 

 

 

             

 

 

 

 

Lighting:  Lighting is a very important element to a completed room. Use at least 3 sources of lights. Remember to include task, ambient and accent lighting to the space as needed.
